Lester and Erma Zimmerman have served as the senior pastoral couple at Petra ever since its founding in 1983. Prior to their service at Petra, they were involved in inner-city ministry and church planting. Lester also serves as the apostolic leader of the Hopewell Network of Churches and has a desire to see the regional church emerge in Lancaster County. Erma serves as co-pastor and elder. She gives oversight to the Connections Ministry and to various ministry leaders. The Zimmerman's live in New Holland and have two grown daughters.
