A Seven Week Small Group Teaching Study for Women.

A Bible study entitled When Godly People Do Ungodly Things, runs for 7 weeks from Sept. 8 to Oct.23 on Monday morning and Monday and Tuesday evening at the church. Filmed in the Grand Tetons of Wyoming, Beth Moore gives a clear message through scripture that once you have reached the pit of seduction you either live the rest of you life dead or you can let Him raise you up to complete restoration.
Child care is provided on Monday evening.
The cost is $16 and includes a study book.

What is Men's Fraternity?
Men's Fraternity is a series of three one-year-long studies, beginning with The Quest for Authentic Manhood, followed by Authentic Manhood: Winning at Work and Home, and concluding with The Great Adventure series. More than just a rally or a Bible study, Men's Fraternity provides men with an encouraging process that teaches them how to live lives of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ and directed by the Word of God.
Men's Fraternity was designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teaching and small group interaction.
These time-tested resources have been used all over the world to equip men to make their pursuit of noble manhood a lifelong priority. Church leaders and lay members are using the series to energize the men of their church and to connect with men in the community. Many men also use the series in their own personal pursuit of authentic manhood.
Starts Sept 10, 6 am at Petra Christian Fellowship and Sept 8, 7 PM at New Holland Church of the Nazarene.

Tell a Friend...Cleansing Stream - Fall 2008: September 14 - 14
Cleansing Stream is a three-month seminar designed to deepen your walk with God and release you into His freedom. It can be a life-changing experience as you progressively receive cleansing and healing. Whether you are new or mature in your faith, this seminar is a great way to increase your faith and understand how to use your authority in Him. There are five teachings, with a small group the following week for discussion and ministry. A workbook is included. Homework in the notebook enables you to apply the principles of the teachings to your life. The teachings include: Walk In the Spirit, Commit Everything to God, Speak Words of Life, Enter the Cleansing Stream, and Press Toward the Goal. A weekend retreat takes place after the fourth teaching. Lots of worship, short teachings, and powerful ministry occur. Many people receive healing, cleansing, freedom, and deep connectedness to God. The classes take place Sunday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Starts September 14 and ends November 23, 2008, and the retreat is here at Petra the weekend of November 7 and 8.
